Acne, Rosacea, and other dermatological conditions can be treated with this service. About Marla Marla Nygaard has studied Herbology and Nutrition for well over 17 years. She worked in Health Food Stores, and for Eclectic Institute (a local herbal company) before starting her career as an Acupuncturist. She graduated from OCOM (Oregon College of Oriental Medicine) in 1996 with a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She founded a clinic and private practice in Minneapolis, Mn. from 1996 - 2001. During that time she was voted by Parenting Magazine for being one of the top 10 Acupuncturists for Pediatrics in Minnesota. She has had a private practice in Portland, OR from 2002 to current time. She has a strong passion for Acupuncture, Wellness and Alternative Healing. She has taken many continuing education classes to allow her to stay current with medicinal applications for effective healing. Her focus has been on Digestive Disorders, Gynecology, Cancer, Depression, ADD/ADHD, and Immunology. In September of 2002, She became certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. She can also add adjunctive therapies such as Moxibustion, Cupping, and Gua Sha to your Acupuncture session. |
